Kaká Says Last Season's Opener Was One of the Best Day's of His Career

During Tuesday morning’s practice as Orlando City continues preparations for it’s March 6th opener, the air seemed a little crisper than normal. Maybe it was the rain from the night before, but I’d like to think it was the energy from the announcement, just hours earlier, that Orlando City SC would aim to #FillTheBowlAgain.
Following training, Orlando City captain Kaká took a moment to reflect on last year’s sellout crowd. “It was amazing, it was a special day for me. One of the best days of my career,” Kaká noted of last year’s successful Fill the Bowl Campaign.

Many in the City of Orlando and beyond would say the same. The call-to-action from the fans on just day one of #FillTheBowlAgain has been tremendous, and the team has already opened the terrace level for sale.

“When we start the season and you see the support that is with us, it’s a big motivation to achieve our goals this season,” said Kaká.

Orlando City will continue their preparations for their opener with a closed door scrimmage against the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday.
