Orlando City returned to the Club’s training ground this morning after a road trip involving matches in Seattle and then Chicago just three days apart.
During a congested period of the Lions’ schedule, Jason Kreis now has a full-week to prepare his team for another test on the road before hosting top-of-the-east Toronto FC at Orlando City Stadium on July 5th.
A full week is exactly what Kreis and Orlando City needs to assess the film from last week’s road matches and make necessary corrections.
While disappointed in his team’s performance against Chicago, Kreis offered a refreshing rebuttal as the team quickly moves on from the loss to continue their playoff push:
“We enjoy what we do,” the Lions head coach said. “We do this job that can be particularly stressful at times, but at the end of the day we still love what we do.”
