Orlando City Defender Tyler Turner Called Up to U-23 U.S. Men's National Team

ORLANDO – May 26, 2015 – Orlando City SC defender Tyler Turner has been called up to the U-23 U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) for the first time in his career. The 19-year-old right-back will join the U-23s this week as part of head coach Andi Herzog's 20-man roster for the 2015 Toulon Tournament in France.


One of the most prestigious soccer events in the world, the Toulon Tournament is set to run from May 27 – June 7 in the south of France.


Turner has previously starred for his native country at the youth level, playing for the U-17s, captaining the U-18s and featuring for the U-20s most recently. In his second season with Orlando City, Turner has made four appearances for the Lions, starting against the Montreal Impact and Toronto F.C.
