XI Mueller

Breaking Down the XI | Slight Rotation

Orlando City plays host to Columbus Crew at Exploria Stadium tonight in a crucial Eastern Conference matchup.

Brian Rowe returns between the pipes after getting a short break mid-week. Rowe has started 18 matches this season, his most since starting 31 with the LA Galaxy in 2016.

On the backline, Kamal Miller will join the familiar trio of Robin Jansson, Lamine Sané, and Ruan. MIller, Orlando’s second round selection in this year’s SuperDraft, has logged 496 minutes for the Lions this season in six starts.

In the midfield, Carlos Ascues will replace Sacha Kljestan and join Will Johnson and Sebas Méndez.

Up top, Benji Michel, Tesho Akindele, and Chris Mueller will form the attacking trio. Both Mueller and Akindele are coming off short rest, so expect to see Dom Dwyer and Santiago Patiño provide relief for them off the bench tonight.

Starting XI presented by Orlando Health: Rowe, Miller, Jansson, Sané, Ruan, Johnson, Ascues, Méndez, Michel, Akindele, Mueller.

Bench: Acosta, Dwyer, Grinwis, Patiño, Powers, Rosell, Smith.
