Orlando City B Fall 2-0 on the Road

STATESBORO, Ga. (June 15, 2019) - Orlando City B (3-7-3, 12 points) fell short, 2-0, to South Georgia Tormenta FC (6-1-4, 22 points) on Saturday night. This served as the team’s first trip on the road in over a week, and third game in eight days.

After a scoreless first half, Tormenta was able to open the scoring in the 54th minute with a goal by Mikie Rowe following a corner. Tormenta doubled the scoring late in the second half with a goal from midfielder Alex Morrell in the 86th minute.

Defender Randy Mendoza returned to the starting XI after being loaned out to the Club’s MLS side, Orlando City SC, for its first game in the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in Memphis on Wednesday, June 12.
