Orlando City SC (7-17-3, 24 points) closes out a two-game road trip when it visits the Chicago Fire (6-15-6, 24 points) on Sunday, Sept. 16. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET at Toyota Park.

The match will be nationally televised on FS1 and transmitted locally on Real Radio 104.1 in English and La Nueva 990 AM in Spanish.

“They’ve been playing with a back three. They’ve obviously got good players and we’ve watched a few of the games already. They’ve got players that can hurt you,” Lions head coach James O’Connor said. “The biggest thing is going into it even going back to the [Kansas City] game, the big moments, when they pop up in the game, you need to take them. The transition moments become really important as they have done for us since we’ve been here. Both attacking and defensive transition are really important aspects of the game that we need to make sure we’re on point with."

The Lions are coming off a 1-0 loss at Sporting Kansas City on Saturday. Felipe Gutierrez scored Sporting’s only goal in the 53rd minute.

Dom Dwyer leads City with 12 goals this season. Yoshimar Yotún, who recently returned from international duty with the Peru national team, leads the team with 10 assists.

This will be Chicago’s first MLS match since Aug. 23, when the Fire tied Columbus 1-1 in Ohio. The draw snapped an eight-game losing streak.

Nemanja Nikolić leads Chicago with 12 goals, while Bastian Schweinsteiger leads the Fire with six assists.

The match will continue MLS WORKS’ Kick Childhood Cancer campaign. Throughout September, fans can purchase gold-themed merchandise, the proceeds of which will benefit Children’s Oncology Network.
