Orlando City SC Announces 2018 Preseason Schedule

ORLANDO, Fla. (January 16, 2018) - Orlando City SC announces its preseason schedule ahead of the 2018 Major League Soccer (MLS) campaign. The Lions will report to camp on Monday, Jan. 22, for the first of three training sessions before traveling to Jacksonville for preseason training at Davis Park. City will play five closed-door preseason matches, the first on Saturday, Feb. 3, against Jacksonville University, before facing four MLS sides.

City will open its fourth MLS season on Saturday, March 3, against D.C. United at Orlando City Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Sunday, Jan. 21 - Medicals at Orlando Health

Monday, Jan. 22 - First day of preseason

Wednesday, Jan. 24 - Travel to Jacksonville

Saturday, Feb. 3 - Preseason scrimmage vs. Jacksonville University at Southern Oak Stadium, 12 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 3 - Return to Orlando

Saturday, Feb. 10 - Preseason scrimmage vs. Minnesota United FC at Sylvan Lake Park, Time TBD

Wednesday, Feb. 14 - Preseason scrimmage vs. Philadelphia Union at Sylvan Lake Park, Time TBD

Saturday, Feb. 17 - Preseason scrimmage vs. Real Salt Lake at Sylvan Lake Park, Time TBD

Saturday, Feb. 24 - Preseason scrimmage vs. Chicago Fire at Orlando City Stadium, 11:30 a.m.


UPDATE: June 10, 2020 - Major League Soccer announced it will restart the 2020 season with all 26 MLS clubs competing in the MLS is Back Tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida beginning July 8. Upon completion of the tournament, MLS plans to continue its regular season with a revised schedule in home markets. The revised schedule may see certain matches from the original 2020 MLS regular season schedule being cancelled or rescheduled. The final number of matches and the schedule for the remainder of the 2020 MLS regular season and related ticket policies will be announced in the coming weeks.
