Week Eleven has come and gone, and the MLS Standings are starting to take shape. After some midweek matches in Week Twelve, here is what the Eastern Conference Standings look like right now:

Atlanta United (12 Pts; 10 GP; 3-4-3)
D.C United (11 Pts; 10 GP; 3-5-2)
Montreal Impact (10 Pts; 10 GP; 2-4-4)

There are some important notes here:

Toronto FC At The Top
Toronto FC is the #1 team in the East, and they currently lead the Shield race by three points over Sporting Kansas City and five points over Orlando City. They have also played twelve games, while Orlando City has only played eleven.

Montreal Impact Fall To Last
The Montreal Impact pull up the bottom of the Eastern Conference with ten points in ten games. While they still have two games in hand on Toronto FC and the Columbus Crew, averaging one point a game isn’t ideal for the Impact.

Union Find Success After Winless Start To The Season
The Union have revived themselves, winning three straight matches after starting off the season winless. They sit in seventh place, just below the playoff line. Atlanta United, who started off their season hot, have fallen into ninth place.

Orlando City Battle For Top
Orlando City has 20 points in 11 games, and currently sits in second place in the Eastern Conference. While they remain five points behind Toronto, they also have a game in hand and will have a chance to tighten the gap this weekend when they host New York City FC.
