Orlando City will play under the lights at Orlando City Stadium on Saturday night as they host Sporting Kansas City. The team will be looking for their sixth consecutive home victory.
With a full day leading up to the match there will be a lot going on in and around the stadium, so we’ll break it all down for you below.
There will be day drinking and tailgating aplenty on Saturday afternoon. Take a stroll downtown and check out one of our many official City Pubs.
After that, get down to the Stadium early so you can check out Mane Street presented by Publix, before getting into the match early. It opens at 3:00 pm.
Your Arrival Cheat Sheet
With a 7:00 pm kickoff, gates will open on Saturday at 5:30. With no sun to compete with try to arrive early and beat the crowds. Grab a beer or some of the fantastic stadium food (Cuban Bowls, what up) and take in the sights of warmups before sunset. It's really pretty, trust me.
For parking, we’d suggest you find a spot in one of the surrounding lots and take the short walk to the Stadium.
10,000 Free Things
Get to an Orlando City match early and you'll often be rewarded. This weeks matchday sponsor, MetroPCS will be giving away the #WelcomeHome mini-scarves seen below. It's some great desk swag to commemorate the stadium's inaugural season.
Clear Bags FTW
Orlando City Stadium has a clear bag policy. For more details on what type of bags are permissible check out the graphic below or click here.
Really want to fly through the lines to get into the stadium? Pro tip: don’t bring a bag. Express lanes are available for light traveling match-goers and should help you get right to the action.
Sharing is Caring

The Look Book
Purple vs. Blue. Here are the colors both teams will be wearing on Saturday night. Wear purple. Don't wear blue. Capisce?
