Orlando City SC Signs Victor ‘PC’ Giro

PC Signing

ORLANDO, Fla. (January 4, 2017) – Orlando City SC has signed young, versatile Brazilian left back Victor ‘PC’ Giro to a four-year contract, pending his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
“He is a young, energetic and skillful player that will give us creativity and versatility up the left side,” Lions General Manager Niki Budalic said.

Giro, widely known as “PC,” joins City on a four-year deal from North American Soccer League (USL) side Tampa Bay Rowdies, where he scored one goal and an assist in 14 appearances. Before joining the Rowdies halfway through the 2016 season, PC played for NASL side Fort Lauderdale Strikers, scoring eight goals and adding four assists in 46 appearances since his arrival in 2015, including the late game-winner against the Lions in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16.

The 22-year-old, who can play left back, left midfield and left wing, came up through Brazilian powerhouse Corinthians’ system before joining NASL.
