Milestones, storylines and more ahead of the final Lions home match of 2026 vs New England Revolution in "The Road Ahead" driven by Audi:

Milestones

- Orlando City’s next goal will tie the MLS regular season club record of 63, set last season. Orlando has either tied or broken this record in each of the past three seasons.

- Martín Ojeda’s next assist, his 48th in all competitions for Orlando City, will see him past Mauricio Pereyra for sole possession of the all-time club record. Ojeda is three goal contributions away from being the first Orlando City player to reach 100 in all competitions for the club.

- Ojeda’s next goal will see him tie Cyle Larin’s 2015 season for the most in a single MLS regular season in Orlando City history with 17. Ojeda is two goals away from tying Larin for the most regular season goals in club history at 43.

- Iván Angulo, at 45 assists, is two helpers away from Pereyra and Ojeda for the club record.

Stats & Storylines

- Orlando City has clinched a playoff berth for the seventh consecutive season, the longest active streak of any MLS club. The Lions can finish anywhere from seventh to ninth in the Eastern Conference depending on Decision Day results.

- In order to climb to seventh and avoid the Wild Card Match, Orlando City needs a win against New England, a Cincinnati loss to Nashville, and a Columbus loss or draw in Chicago. The Lions would host the Wild Card match if it can move above one of Cincinnati or Columbus. Orlando must win its game to move above ninth.

- Despite ripping 17 shots, the Lions were shut out in Charlotte last weekend for the first time since May 9, ending a club-record run of 23 straight matches in all competitions with a goal. Orlando City still has an active home scoring streak of 16 straight games dating back to mid-April.

- Inter.co has been a fortress for Orlando City in the second half of the season. The Lions are 6W-1L-2D in MLS action at home since the World Cup, including a current six-game unbeaten run. Orlando is 11W-5L-4D at home in all competitions in 2026.

Meet the opponent: New England Revolution

- Orlando City’s six-game unbeaten run against the Revs came to an end on September 19. The Lions fought back from a 2-0 deficit to level the game late, only to see New England score twice in second half stoppage time.

- The Revolution took a hard-luck 2-1 loss to Inter Miami last weekend, dropping a point behind the Herons to third in the Eastern Conference table. New England can still move up to the 2-seed if it betters Miami’s result on Decision Day. Miami is home to Charlotte.

- Carles Gil continues to be a thorn in Orlando’s side. The New England playmaker and former Landon Donovan MLS MVP had 2g/1a against the Lions in September, bringing him to 9g/9a in all competitions against Orlando City for his career. Gil was helped in the effort by teenage phenom Peyton Miller, who scored New England’s second and third goals on the night. Miller is up to 7g/9a in a breakout 2026 MLS campaign and just recently made his debut for the U.S. men’s national team.

- Martín Ojeda has enjoyed tons of success against New England over the years, racking up 6g/2a in just seven MLS matches against the Revs. Ojeda had a hat trick in Orlando’s most recent home game against New England last May.
