Pride Midfielder Camila Joins Brazilian Side Iranduba

Orlando Pride midfielder Camila Martins Pereira has signed a short-term contract with Brazilian club Esporte Clube Iranduba da Amazônia for the current National Women’s Soccer League offseason. Camila, who is a member of the Brazil women’s national team, will play with Iranduba for the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores Femenina.

Camila joined the Pride ahead of the 2017 NWSL season and enjoyed a breakout campaign that was cut short after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) sprain in her right knee during the final match of the regular season. The 24-year-old made her return the pitch on July 7, 2018 - playing 25 minutes in a 2-1 win over the Washington Spirit. Over two seasons with the Pride, Camila has appeared in 33 matches, scoring four goals and adding five assists.

Camila’s contract with Iranduba will end at the conclusion of the calendar year.
