ORLANDO, Fla. (Mar. 15, 2022) — With its 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup debut just four days away, the Orlando Pride has announced its 26-player roster that will open play this Saturday at Exploria Stadium. With first-year Head Coach Amanda Cromwell at the helm, the Pride host reigning NWSL Champion Washington Spirit on March 19. The match is slated to kickoff at 7 p.m. ET and will stream domestically on Paramount+ and internationally on Twitch.

Tickets for Saturday’s match can be purchased at the link here, while Season Ticket and Group Ticket opportunities are available. Season Ticket Memberships include access to each of the Pride’s 14 home games this season, with up to a 25% discount per ticket. More information on season tickets and group tickets can be found here or by calling (855) ORL-CITY.

Fans will get their first opportunity to see the 2022 version of the Pride, led by newly-appointed captain Marta, which includes 16 returns such as Sydney Leroux, Erin McLeod and Gunny Jónsdóttir, as well as 10 new faces like Megan Montefusco, Darian Jenkins, and Celia Jiménez Delgado.

Additionally, four players have been placed on the Supplemental Roster for the 2022 season in goalkeeper Kaylie Collins, defenders Kerry Abello and Carrie Lawrence, and midfielder Parker Roberts. Players on the Supplemental Roster are full participants in the team’s squad, however their salary does not count against the team’s cap hit.

Forward Julie Doyle and defender Caitlin Cosme have signed with the Pride after being selected in the 2022 NWSL Draft. Abello, along with midfielder Mikayla Cluff, officially join the Pride after being drafted in 2021 and using the extra year of collegiate eligibility granted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
