Orlando, Fla. (July 15, 2025) — Orlando City SC forward Marco Pašalić has been added to the 2025 MLS All-Star Roster, the league announced today. Pašalić will join teammate Alex Freeman as Orlando City’s two representatives at this year’s MLS All-Star Game at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, on July 23 (9 p.m. ET; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV).
Pašalić joined Orlando City in February 2025 and has made an immediate impact, starting 22 matches and recording 10 goals and four assists. Tied for the team lead in goals in regular-season play, he’s part of a Designated Player trio that currently leads all other DP groups in MLS with 45 goal contributions this season.
Orlando City will have five players representing the Club at every level of the All-Star week festivities in Austin, Texas: Gustavo Caraballo and Dylan Judelson representing the Academy at the MLS NEXT All-Star Game; goalkeeper Carlos Mercado representing Orlando City B in Goalie Wars at the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge presented by AT&T; and Freeman and Pašalić featuring in the MLS All-Star Game.
With their inclusion on the roster, Freeman and Pašalić become the seventh and eighth All-Star selections in club history, respectively, and the first Lions to participate in the event since current goalkeeper Pedro Gallese and former captain Nani both featured in 2021.
The best players in North America will take center stage at the 2025 MLS All-Star Game, as the MLS All-Stars face a team of All-Stars from Mexico’s top soccer league, LIGA MX. The highly anticipated match will be broadcast live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English, Spanish and French.
