KISSIMMEE, Fla. (July 10, 2022) - Orlando City B (3-7-3, 14 points) dropped a 3-1 decision on Sunday night to intrastate foes Inter Miami CF II (7-7-1, 22 points) at Osceola County Stadium.

Forward Moises Tablante tallied his fourth goal of the year for Orlando City B on the night, striking in the 13th minute of play. Neicer Acosta also earned his first assist for OCB, turning provider on Tablante’s goal.

The match saw Orlando City B return to Osceola County Stadium for the first time in over a month, after four consecutive road matches dating back to its last home match on June 4 against NYCFC II.

Orlando City B Head Coach Martín Perelman:

“It was a match that, for moments, we controlled and we could find the goal. I think we didn’t have our best game on offense, but we still created our situations and when we had the ball we controlled [Inter Miami II] and they weren’t a danger to us. Then we had three individual mistakes and they scored three goals, but this is football, no?”

Scoring Recap:

13’ Moises Tablante (Neicer Acosta) - OCB 1, MIA 0
Orlando City B got the scoring started on the night after constant pressure through the first 10 minutes of play. Moises Tablante dribbled over the top of Miami II’s box and worked a give-and-go move with Neicer Acosta to lead him in. Tablante then roofed a shot to the goalkeeper’s right to open things up.

70’ Shaan Hundal (Penalty Kick) - OCB 1, MIA 1
Inter Miami II was able to level via the penalty spot in the second half, with Shaan Hundal stepping up to take the spot kick for the visitors. Goalkeeper Adam Grinwis dove right and Hundal hit a strong ball low down the center to Grinwis’ left to level it.

78’ Shanyder Borgelin (Romeo Beckham) - MIA 2, OCB 1
The visitors took the lead nine minutes later after forward Shanyder Borgelin picked up a pass from Romeo Beckham in the midfield. Borgelin turned into space and fired a long shot past Grinwis and into the lower left corner of the net.

84’ Romeo Beckham - MIA 3, OCB 1
The provider turned scorer in the 84th minute of play with Romeo Beckham tallying off a free kick from outside the box. Beckham curled his kick over the OCB wall and into the left corner for Miami’s third of the night.
