MLS Announces Date Change to Orlando City’s July Home Schedule

Citrus Bowl Change

ORLANDO – March 12, 2015 – Orlando City Soccer Club’s match against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, July 19, has been rescheduled for one day earlier.  The schedule change was announced this afternoon by Major League Soccer and is the result of national television conflicts related to the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup schedule, which was released today.

As a result of the rescheduling, the match will take place on Saturday, July 18, with kick-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.  The fixture will now air locally on MY65.

Taking place every two years, the CONCACAF Gold Cup is the region's preeminent national team tournament. Featuring the Confederation's best players from 12 top nations, the competition routinely draws capacity crowds and millions of television viewers across the region and around the world.  It is expected that several Orlando City players will participate in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup as part of their respective national teams, including Brek Shea (USA), Kevin Molino (Trinidad & Tobago), Darwin Ceren (El Salvador) and Cyle Larin (Canada).
