Heath: We Don’t Fear Anybody

With two weeks off, Orlando City will be jumping back into things, defending their home pitch against the defending cup champions, Portland Timbers. However, Head Coach Adrian Heath and his team are more than ready to get going.

“We know it’s going to be a tough game, but it’s one that we’re all really looking forward to. It gives us another opportunity to gauge ourselves to the best team in the league last year.”

The Lions will also look to repeat their win against the Timbers from last season. Coach Heath noted the Timbers would be “looking to get revenge”. Last year Orlando City defeated the Timbers in Portland 2-0 on the road.

Despite being the defending champions, Coach Heath let it be known Orlando City is not one to shy away from a challenge. “It is the defending champions and you have to give them the respect they deserve, we always do. But we don’t fear anybody. This team doesn’t need to fear anybody. We’ve got enough talent to beat anybody in the league.”

This game will also see the return of Kaká, making his season debut after being sidelined this preseason due to injury.
