FourFourTwo.com, recently speculated about which venue was the toughest for MLS teams to travel to. Their writers disagreed-- Scott French said Sporting Kansas City, while Paul Tenorio said Orlando City. When they put it to a vote--adding on the Portland Timbers and Toronto FC as the other two choices-- Orlando City won with 50% of the vote.

Tenorio said that the power of the new stadium was proven in Sunday night’s scoreless draw against the Chicago Fire.

Down two men – thanks to the handiwork of an MLS referee with a reputation for red card revelry – Orlando City stacked the box and defended,” Tenorio wrote. “The Lions tried to survive and every clearance, every tackle, every extra sprint back was rewarded by the crowd. It breathed them on, making nine men somehow feel like 12.”

Kreis spoke about the power of the crowd  this weekend, praising the supporters’ ability to change results. This season, Orlando City became the first team to open a stadium to five straight wins. They are 6-1-2 overall at home this year.
