0.58 - Erc-xpected Goals

Ercan Kara has been red-hot for Orlando City lately, scoring five times in his last seven matches in all competitions. Kara has been one of the best players in MLS at finding chances this season, ranking fifth in the league in expected goals per 90 minutes at 0.58 among players with at least 600 minutes. Now those chances are starting to turn themselves into goals for the big Austrian striker.

8 - Cue the Strings

“El Maestro” Mauricio Pereyra picked up two more assists on Saturday night, giving him eight for the year in MLS and nine in all competitions. Pereyra is tied with reigning MLS MVP Carles Gil of New England for the league lead in assists. The Uruguayan playmaker is also top 10 in the league in key passes, total chances created, and expected assists.

1/3 - Bear Territory

Júnior Urso loves scoring against FC Cincinnati. The Bear has scored three of his nine career MLS goals against the Blue and Orange, including the winner in Orlando’s last trip to TQL Stadium on October 16, 2021. Urso and the Lions will be back in Cincy this Friday night for another go.

20 - Not Your Older Brother's Cincy

FC Cincinnati took home the Wooden Spoon in each of their first three seasons in MLS, but the Blue and Orange faithful finally have a team to be proud of in 2022. Cincinnati’s draw at Philadelphia last weekend took them to 20 points on the season, already equalling the club’s total from last year. Cincinnati enters Friday night’s game with Orlando City tied on points for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
