Orlando City Earn Big Point on the Road

Orlando City looked to be back to their old selves late Sunday night — drawing a talented Whitecaps team on the road in Vancouver. An early goal by Julio Baptista coupled with an equalizer from Cyle Larin helped Orlando secure the point on the road.

Pride Fall to Red Stars in Rain-Soaked Affair

The Orlando Pride were defeated 1-0 by the Chicago Red Stars in a match that was delayed in the 74th minute for inclement weather. The Pride consistently found themselves applying pressure in the box but could not find the back of the net. It was their third match without international players who reported for Rio 2016, and they’re 1-2-0 in those affairs.

Turner and Heath Selected to 2016 Chipotle Homegrown Game

Orlando City players Tyler Turner and Harrison Heath were selected this week to participate in the 2016 Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game. The game features players under MLS’ homegrown designation competing the day before the 2016 AT&T MLS All-Star Game. Unfortunately, Heath will miss the match for the second straight year with an injury.

Kaká and Shea Among Best-Selling Jerseys in the League

MLS superstars and Orlando City players Kaká and Brek Shea are listed among the best-selling jerseys at the half-way point of the 2016 MLS Season. The former FIFA World Player of the Year is ranked 6th and Shea lands in the 19th spot on the list. Both were among the top 10 best-selling jerseys of 2015.
