The Venue

FC Cincinnati currently play in Nippert Stadium until the construction of West End Stadium is complete in 2021. Nippert is located on the campus of the University of Cincinnati and is home to the Bearcats football team. In 2017 FC Cincinnati footed the bill to expand the stadium dimensions to ensure a safe playing surface for soccer.

Things to Do

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
They have Lions here, so obviously that’s a good omen. They also have Fennec Foxes. Have you seen those things. So adorable.

The Purple People Bridge
It’s a purple bridge. End of story.

Cincinnati Observatory
If you’re headed up on Friday night, check out the oldest observatory in the United states starting at 8:30 to check out the stars. They are also open during the daytime if you just want to check out the historic building and telescopes.

Bars and Restaurants

Skyline Chili
It seems like you either love or hate this place. Their signature dish is steaming spaghetti covered with their original secret-recipe chili and topped with a mound of shredded cheddar cheese. I’ve never had it, so let me know what you think.

Nine Giant Brewing
Hand crafted artisan beer and scratch-made food. Giant pretzels and pimento grilled cheese is enough to get me in the door. Plus, on Wednesday’s you get to play Plinko to determine the price of your beer.

Nada
I always have to put a taco spot in these guides. Authentic tacos and hand-crafted cocktails combine to make this one of the most popular eats in town.
