On the final result victory
‘‘Obviously very pleased. I think to have that level of performance is great. Took our chances, very clinical with our opportunities but also the way in which we won. I think the second half was very professional to manage the game the way we did. Overall, just really pleased with the players because I feel as if they’ve been rewarded with more points, so it was great to have a win like that.”
“I feel as if we’ve had performance levels that have been deserving of a lot more. We’ve been very unfortunate so the next block of games we’re hopeful that we’ll start to get the points we think we deserve. But I think when you have that level of performance, it was very good. There was great movement on that third goal and a great finish. I think the players deserve enormous credit not just for the win but the manner in which they went and got the win.”
On a win before the Gold Cup break
“We wish the guys going away the very best of luck. We’re obviously sad we’re going to miss them for a period. But for us, it’s pleasing to go and give the supporters a win like that.”
On scoring three goals against the Impact at home
“Rémi is someone I have enormous respect for. He’s a very organized coach. I think for us to be able to score three goals against a team like that is very satisfying. We were pretty clinical today.”

On the win
“It feels really good, especially before this long break. This is a game we needed to get a result from. We’ve kept saying that these last few weeks we’ve been playing well and creating opportunities, but it just hasn’t been there. I think tonight everything came together so I’m glad we all got rewarded for all the work we’ve been putting in.”
On the dominant first half
“If you look at the previous games we’ve had, we’ve usually been conceding the first goal and then it takes us a while to have a reaction and go from there. So, I think for us to get on the front foot and score that first goal and dictate the game is something new for us but something we should expect every game.”

On the final result
“Everything was finally clicking for us. We were moving the ball well. We were pressuring the other team really well, so I think it was a really good performance from our team.”
On his goal
“I told Chris [Mueller] right before that, ‘You can take people one on one and just lay the ball across and I’m going to be there.’ And he literally did that. I had the easiest goal of my life! So, all credit to him. He’s an amazing 1v1 player so I think that is going to be really on for our team the rest of the season.”
On the importance of a win before the Gold Cup break
“It was really big because we have a big break before the next game so you’re going to be sitting on thr last result, whether it was a win or a loss. So, it was good that we’re sitting on the high of the rollercoaster right now.”
