Orlando City is set to take on the Colorado Rapids and James OâConnor will have nearly his full complement of players to work with today.
In goal, Brian Rowe will start. Rowe leads MLS in saves with 18.
The back 3 will consist of Robin Jansson, Lamine SanĂŠ and Carlos Ascues. Ascues moves back from the midfield this week to make room for SebastiĂĄn MĂŠndez, returning from National Team duty, in the midfield.
MĂŠndez will be joined by Sacha Kljestan and Nani. Nani is tied with eight other players for the MLS lead in assists with three.
On the wings, JoĂŁo Moutinho and Ruan will pair up for the third consecutive match.
Up top, Tesho Akindele returns from an injury sustained in the second match of the season. Akindele scored in Orlandoâs season opener. Heâll be joined by Dom Dwyer who is off to a record start this season. Dwyer has started the season with a goal contribution (at least one goal or assist) in each of Orlando Cityâs first five games. He is the only player in MLS with a five-game goal contribution streak this season. It is also a personal record for Dwyer.
