When Orlando City takes on Sporting KC tonight on the road, James O’Connor will have 10 of 11 players in his XI who started last Saturday against the Philadelphia Union Only Yoshi Yotún, who is away on international duty with Peru, will not carry over from last week.
In goal, Joe Bendik will start for the fourth consecutive match.
O’Connor will stick with his three center back backline against Kansas City. The grouping of Jonathan Spector, Carlos Ascues, Shane O’Neill, and Scott Sutter looked versatile against the Union.
Uri Rosell and Will Johnson will pair again in the defensive midfield.
Chris Mueller will replace Yoshi Yotún in the forward midfield but will swap spots with Cristian Higuita. That gap will be bridged by Sacha Kljestan.
Dom Dwyer returns to Kansas City tonight for the first time since he was acquired by Orlando in July 2017.
