By the Numbers: Scott's Shots; All of the Outfield

After scoring his 2nd goal of the season last Friday, Scott Sutter became just the 3rd defender in Orlando City history to record 2+ goals in a season and the first since Seb Hines scored three in 2016. It was the 5th MLS goal scored by a defender this season, which is the most in Lions history. The previous high was 4 in 2015.

Orlando City has played 27 total outfield players this season. For the first time in club history, every outfield player on the roster has played at least a minute. The only two players on the roster who have not made an appearance are goalkeepers Adam Grinwis and Mason Stajduhar.

After making eight saves against Atlanta United, Joe Bendik now has 304 in his Orlando City career. It was also Bendik's 88th MLS appearance for the Lions, moving past Cyle Larin into 2nd in club history.

Three Orlando City players received call-ups to their respective national team's this week. Yoshi Yotun will play with Peru against the Netherlands and Germany. Amro Tarek got the call from Egypt as they prepare for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger. Mohamed El-Munir will also play in the Africa Cup of Nations as Libya takes on South Africa. All three will miss Orlando City's match against Sporting Kansas City on September 8th.
