The 2nd Annual Ruckus Secret Show Raises $10,000 to benefit the Zebra Coalition of Orlando

Love Your Stripes

"Forever Our City”, that motto is the essence of every member of the Ruckus, even when faced with struggle, it is the "family" that we fall back on. Last year, the 1st Annual Ruckus Secret Show to benefit Zebra Coalition of Orlando was an opportunity for the Ruckus to take ownership of a cause near and dear to our hearts in the Central Florida Community. Zebra’s mission is to support and inspire LGBTQ+ youth from ages 13-24. The Coalition assists youth facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from their families, and physical, sexual and drug abuse with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.

Last year was a statement that this group and this community will never back down in fear. More importantly, that we will never ignore those in our community who face struggle. In those efforts, last year we proudly raised $6,000 through our first Secret Show. On behalf of Ruckus Leadership and the 2nd Annual Ruckus Secret Show Committee, we are proud to announce that this year we have raised $10,000 to assist in Zebra’s mission.

We would like to thank all of our event partners and participants: Art & History Museums of Maitland, Broken Cauldron Brewery, Cuisinier Catering, IKEA, Miguel Gallardo, Orlando City Foundation, Orlando Party Rental, Phantasmagoria, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, United World Soccer, and the Ruckus and all of its affiliates.

We hope all members of the community can join us on July 26th at 6:00 pm in the Ruckus Lot (on the corner of Jackson Street and South Westmoreland) for the check presentation. From there, please join us in our march to the match as Orlando City are set to take on NYCFC at 8:00 pm.

One Love, One Ruckus
