Just over 24 hours after announcing their new head coach, Orlando City will take on Atlanta United under interim head coach Bobby Murphy. Murphy’s lineup today looks very similar to one that James O’Connor might utilize next week in L.A.
The biggest addition to the XI is left back Mohamed El-Munir, who missed two consecutive matches due to red card and yellow card suspensions. Across the field from him, Scott Sutter will get his first start since returning from injury. Sutter came off the bench against Montreal, but hasn’t started since April 8 against Portland.
Both Dom Dwyer and Chris Mueller will feature up top tonight against Atlanta. Dwyer scored 2 and assisted on one in Orlando City’s only previous trip to Mercedes Benz Stadium.
Kickoff is at 7pm this evening on ESPN.
