Breaking Down the XI: Dwyer and Spector Start

Dom Starts

After playing 26 high-intensity minutes on Saturday, we all knew it was coming. Dom Dwyer returns to the starting lineup tonight as Orlando City takes on the Montreal Impact. Dwyer has been recovering from a lower body injury and hasn’t started since May 13.

After a successful 45 minute outing last week in the U.S. Open Cup, Jonathan Spector will also make his return to the starting lineup tonight. Spector hasn’t started a league match since April 3 when he suffered a concussion. You can hear about his recovery during tonight’s pregame show on WRDQ TV 27 and YoutubeTV.

There are minor shakeup’s throughout the rest of the lineup. Due to Mohamed El-Munir’s suspension, Tony Rocha will get the start at left back tonight. With Dwyer back in the lineup up top, Josue Colmán moves to the midfield. Colmán has assisted on Orlando City’s last 4 league goals.

Starting XI: Bendik, Rocha, Tarek, Spector, Allen, Rosell, Higuita, Meram, Kljestan, Colmán, Dwyer.

Bench: Powers, Mueller, Toia, Schuler, Pinho, Villarreal, Edwards Jr.
