OCYS Welcomes Scott McCulloch

We are delighted to welcome Scott McCulloch to Orlando City Youth for the 2018-19 season. Coach McCulloch is no stranger to Orlando City, having worked with Orlando City B USL (OCB) team during its time in Melbourne. In addition to  serving as Technical Director & Academy Director at South Brevard FC.  Coach McCulloch will coach the Orlando City 2006 Girls.

“Scott is a great addition to our coaching slate, he has a passion for teaching the game and brings 15 plus year's experience to the players. It is so important that we continue to add quality and his experience in leadership positions and his reputation are well known.” Technical Director Paul Shaw said.

Since 2013 Coach McCulloch served as South Brevard FC (SBFC) Competitive Teams Technical Director, overseeing club wide development of coaches, trainers and players specifically ages 10-19. Prior to 2014 Coach McCulloch was Academy Director at SBFC and helped establish the OCB presence in Brevard County. 

Coach McCulloch is a graduate of Eastern Florida State College and is currently a United States Soccer Federation “C” License candidate.  


UPDATE: March 19, 2020 - In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance to postpone events involving more than 50 people over the next eight weeks, Major League Soccer has extended the postponement of its matches during this period of time. MLS remains focused on playing the entire 2020 season and is evaluating all options, including pushing back the end of the season and playing MLS Cup in December, as the league did prior to the 2019 season. The league is also identifying other available dates. Throughout this process, MLS will continue to prioritize the safety of our fans, players, employees and partners and to coordinate with federal and local public health authorities as well as other sporting organizations..
