This week’s matchday poster was created by local artist Nehs. The UCF grad who hails from Fort Walton Beach used his unique style blended with a superhero/comic book theme when creating this piece of art.
“A lot of my design on canvas has to do with composition. I do a lot of closeup stuff,” said Nehs.
You can clearly see the comic book inspiration in the three panel design of the poster.
Nehs was thrilled to have the opportunity to create something for the Orlando City Foundation that will give back to the community.
“Lately, I’ve been thinking about impact,” said Nehs. “Like impact in the community. For me lately, my personal conviction has been, ‘how can I use the gift that god gave me to impact the community?”
Posters can be purchases at The Den in Orlando City Stadium starting this Sunday when Orlando City takes on the Portland Timbers.
“This is an opportunity for a little piece of city-wide impact. I thank god for this opportunity.”
