Matchups Set At Orlando Citrus Bowl For Copa America in June

ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 21, 2016) – The Orlando Citrus Bowl will host three first round match-ups during the Copa America Centenario, starting on June 4. The first match-up will be Costa Rica vs. Paraguay on June 4, the second on June 6 will see Bolivia take on Panama, and the last match on June 8 will see Brazil take on Haiti.

The groups and full match schedule were set for the 2016 Copa America Centenario after the Official Draw was conducted at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this evening. The entire tournament will take place from June 3-26 across 10 cities in the United States.

The Copa America Centenario honors 100 years of the Copa America tournament and will feature some of the world's best teams and players. UPDATE: August 8, 2020 - Major League Soccer unveiled the framework of a revised schedule for the remainder of the 2020 season, with the League’s 25th season continuing in the home markets of the 26 clubs beginning August 12. At this time, MLS has announced the initial phase of the revised schedule for U.S. clubs through September 14 and plans to announce the balance of the regular season schedule by early September. More details on schedules for the Canadian teams will be announced in the near future. Attendance at matches will be determined by MLS and club leadership in accordance with applicable state and local guidelines.
