Crown release

ORLANDO, Fla. – Feb. 3, 2016 – The Orlando Pride National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team is proud to announce its first Recognized Supporter Club, The Crown, leading up to its inaugural 2016 campaign.

“We’re thrilled to welcome The Crown to the Orlando City family,” said CEO Alex Leitão. “Our Club supporters have been instrumental in helping create an incredible match day experience on the MLS side, and we look forward to seeing that same passion and loyalty for Orlando Pride.”

“Our goal is to create a culture that is supportive of Orlando Pride in a family, friendly environment, while also supporting the Orlando community through numerous charitable and social activities,” said President of The Crown Lisa Raymond.

Similar to the Iron Lion Firm, the Ruckus and the Harbor City Hooligans – The Crown will focus on supporting and promoting Orlando Pride, while creating the loudest, most creative and passionate supporter experience in women’s soccer.

The Crown has also partnered with Grafiti Junktion in Oviedo, Fla., for away game watch parties and other events related to the Supporter Club. More information will be released at a later date via The Crown’s social media channels: Facebook and Twitter.
