With the start of 2016 right around the corner, we are getting close to the beginning of the Orlando Pride’s inaugural season. With the expansion draft now in the past, and the core of the roster set, Orlando begins the final stretch of preparations before the season starts. Below we look at a few key dates to look for. Estimated dates are marked with an asterisk and are subject to change.

There is no exact date at this time for the release of the 2016 NWSL schedule, however before last season, the schedule was released in Mid-January which will most likely repeat itself this January. |
<strong>Start of Training Camp</strong> |

When Orlando City entered the MLS last season, the Lions began training about 8 weeks before the season. The Pride will most likely stay on a similar path with when they begin training. |
<strong>Start of the season</strong> |

We will find out in January exactly when the season will start, however it will most likely be in mid-April. |
