OCYS Hosts Successful Orlando City Cup

Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) hosted its annual Orlando City Cup this past weekend, featuring over 200 teams from 40 different youth clubs, representing Florida, North Carolina and Georgia.

The success of the tournament was the result of collaborative effort between OCYS, local residents, volunteers, hotels, restaurants and many others.

The festive Columbus Day Tournament marked the final tournament hosted by OCYS in 2015, as the youth club begins to prepare for its 2016 series – including the Junior Pro Tournament and Orlando City Festival.

“We would like to thank the cast of volunteers from our local community, the high school bright future volunteers, coaches, staff and players alike who all helped make this tournament a success,” said OCYS Tournament Director Dan Tidmarsh. “We look forward to seeing many of those familiar faces in 2016.”
