Orlando Gears Up for Visiting Galaxy
As City’s growing pains continue in its first MLS season, Orlando faithful continue to show their undying support. Today’s visit from the defending MLS Cup Champs has been circled on the calendar for months, and attendance is expected to surpass every game but the opener. MLS fans around the country have been waiting, too. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2.

Orlando City Youth Programs Excelling
Orlando City’s Pro Academies are continuing their dominance as the U-12 team won first place in the Florida Cup and the U-13 team completed an undefeated season in the Florida Premier League, winning the league title. The U-12 team defeated Atletico Madrid’s U-12 team earlier in the year. With their championship, the U-13 team qualified for the National Premier League Finals in July. - Read


Aurelien Collin Out vs. Galaxy
After suffering a hamstring injury in the 2nd half against DC United, center back Aurelien Collin will miss Sunday’s match against LA. The loss of such a solid defender will require some shuffling of an already shorthanded back line on Heath’s part. Amobi Okugo has playing experience at center back and Heath hinted at the possibility of seeing Okugo there on Sunday.


Striker Martin Paterson Nearing Return
Martin Paterson, sidelined since the preseason with a hamstring injury, is hopeful that Sunday will mark his MLS debut. Paterson has been participating more in training recently and coach Adrian Heath said he will look to get Paterson involved in some form this weekend, though it may be too early for him to start. - Read
