Orlando City SC Teams Up with SUBWAY -

ORLANDO – December 16, 2014
– Orlando City Soccer Club today announced a multi-year agreement with SUBWAY® Restaurants, whereby the world’s largest restaurant chain will become the Official Sub Sandwich Partner and Training Restaurant of Orlando City as it embarks on its inaugural Major League Soccer (MLS) season.  Per Club policy, deal terms were not disclosed.

Through this agreement, SUBWAY and Orlando City will collaborate on various in-market campaigns and promotions that will allow fans to win merchandise, game tickets and other prizes. The first of these promotions will launch in January as the Club prepares for the start of the 2015 season.

“We are so excited about this multi-year deal, and are equally excited about MLS soccer coming to Orlando,” said Peter DiPasqua, local Franchisee and CEO of DiPasqua Enterprises.  “We feel that Subway and Orlando City are a great fit, because SUBWAY provides soccer players of all ages the opportunity to eat healthy and fresh, and grab a quick meal either before a game or in between games.”

“This is a win-win agreement for Orlando City and our fans,” said Orlando City Founder and President Phil Rawlins.  “SUBWAY shares our passion for healthy eating, nutrition and education. We look forward to working together on various promotions over the coming years.”
