Orlando City SC Receives Seventh Pick in MLS Dispersal Draft

ORLANDO – November 14, 2014 – Orlando City Soccer Club will receive the 7th pick in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Dispersal Draft for former Chivas USA players the Club announced today. The Dispersal Draft is set to take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.

The MLS Dispersal Draft is another mechanism by which the Lions will build their 2015 MLS roster.

In September, Orlando City took a significant step toward building its 2015 roster, after receiving the first pick in both the MLS Expansion Draft and SuperDraft.

Set to occur on December 10, 2014, the MLS Expansion Draft allows incoming teams the opportunity to select 10 unprotected players from existing clubs within the league.

The MLS SuperDraft will take place in January 2015, providing each team in MLS the chance to acquire top players from various universities across the United States.
