The Orlando City Fan Advisory Council (F.A.C.) received its first all-access look at the Orlando Citrus Bowl on Tuesday night.

The F.A.C. toured the Lions’ future home for the 2015 MLS season with Club executives, getting an up-close look at the venue currently undergoing over $200 million in renovations.

The tour began in both the home and away team locker rooms, which sit directly underneath the supporter’s section. For the Lions, the new locker room layout will serve as pre-match motivation as they hear the roar of the City faithful. However, the away team might have a slightly different feeling...

Following the locker room tour, the F.A.C. were brought out onto the pitch for a complete 360 degree view of the stadium.

At first glance, the new features spotted included: an enormous video board at the south end, two auxiliary video boards at the far side, and the north end of the stadium was completely enclosed with ground level seats and a party deck directly above.

The F.A.C. were also impressed with the Citrus Bowl’s newly installed seats, which boast six inches of extra leg room.

The Club level design was also a head-turner, including exclusive access to an indoor/outdoor Club located at midfield on the Plaza level, showcasing a spectacular view of the field.

With a clear picture in mind, the F.A.C. can now begin formulating concepts and ideas that will have the Lions’ Den rocking on a weekly basis.
