Orlando City continues to visit Central Florida's Libraries

OSC visits North Orange Library

Orlando City Midfielder Austin Da Luz and Forward Guiseppe Gentile visited the North Orange County Library Tuesday, August 12. The players were guests to the Summer Reading Program being held at the library. This program involves weekly special events throughout the summer to excite the community and encourage children to read. Everyone was pleased the see the high number of children that attended.

Da Luz and Gentile volunteered their time to the event, with the children able to enjoy an energetic Q&A session with them. During the Q&A, they shared with the children their experiences as soccer players after which they signed autographs. The two later got to test whether they had the makings of a model in a photo session, (lucky for us both decided to stick to soccer) and kicked the ball around with a few of the excited children in attendance.

The library appreciated the high participation level and they were able to promote their summer reading program with the children enthusiastic and excited. 50 children were in attendance on Tuesday for the Summer Reading Program

The players had a great time and Orlando City was pleased to be involved with this event. Tuesday's reading program was the fourth event we have been able to attend in our Central Florida Libraries.
