Milestones
- Maxime Crépeau’s next save will be his 100th in all competitions for the 2026 campaign, his first with Orlando City.
- MartÃn Ojeda’s next appearance will be his 150th for Orlando City in all competitions. Ojeda needs three goals (all competitions) to tie Facundo Torres’ Orlando City club record of 47 career tallies. Ojeda is four assists away from Mauricio Pereyra’s club record, also 47.
- Daryl Dike’s next goal will be his 22nd for Orlando City, tying former teammate Chris Mueller for ninth on the club’s all-time scoring list.Â
- Marco Pašalić is two goals away from 20 for the club across all competitions, three behind Dike.

- Antoine Griezmann continues to heat up for Orlando City. The global icon notched two more goal contributions in last week’s 3-3 draw with Minnesota United, including a world-class long-ball assist for the equalizer in second-half stoppage time. Griezmann is up to 5g/3a since his arrival in July and has 3g/2a in his last three matches.
- Tyrese Spicer, who got on the end of Griezmann’s dime to tie the game against Minnesota, remains one of the most efficient attackers in MLS. Spicer has 8g/5a in just 972 minutes in 2026, including 5g/3a in his last nine appearances in all competitions.
- Daryl Dike scored Orlando’s opener against Minnesota, his second goal since returning to the Lions from West Bromwich Albion and the 21st of his Orlando City career. The strike moved Dike back into the club’s all-time top ten goalscorers, tying him with former teammate Tesho Akindele. Dike has scored in each of his two starts since his return.
- Orlando’s attack has gotten better and better since Griezmann’s arrival, ranking just outside the top 10 in MLS for the season even accounting for the season’s slow start. The Lions have scored in each of Griezmann’s ten matches and have not been shut out in 14 straight games in all competitions going back to early May.

- Orlando City faces a new MLS opponent for the first time since 2023 this weekend, welcoming 2025 expansion side San Diego FC to town. Orlando’s last time against a new MLS club came against St. Louis City on August 26, 2023, a 2-1 win for the Lions that featured a game-winning penalty from Facundo Torres in second half stoppage time.
- The Lions have a strong recent history against new MLS teams. In addition to that win over St. Louis, Orlando swept Charlotte in the Crown’s first season in 2022, knocked off Inter Miami in the first Florida Derby at the MLS is Back Tournament in 2020, and went 2-0-1 against FC Cincinnati in 2019. Orlando City holds a 10-2-6 record overall against teams that entered the league in 2021 or later.
- San Diego finished first in the West in their dream expansion campaign in 2025, reaching the Western Conference Finals in year 1 under former United States U-20 head coach Mikey Varas. 2026 has been rockier, but the Chrome and Azul have righted the ship after a ten game winless skid in the spring, winning five of their last six in all competitions.
- SDFC is spearheaded by DP right winger Anders Dreyer, who finished second in the Landon Donovan MLS MVP voting in 2025 and has followed with 9g/12a in all competitions this year. Dreyer had two assists in last weekend’s 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy.Â
- The Danish international Dreyer has a new running mate on the opposite side in the form of Elias Achouri, a DP signed this summer from FC Copenhagen. Achouri, who featured for Tunisia at this summer’s World Cup, has scored in each of his first two starts for San Diego.
