Milestones, storylines and more ahead of the Lions away match at Toronto FC in "The Road Ahead" driven by Audi:
Milestones
- Martín Ojeda’s next goal, his 48th in all competitions, will set a new Orlando City club record and make him the all-time leading goalscorer in club history. Facundo Torres has held the record with 47 career goals since 2024. Ojeda is two assists away from Mauricio Pereyra’s club record, also 47.
- Iván Angulo can set a new Orlando City record by scoring for the sixth consecutive MLS regular season match if he finds the back of the net against Toronto on Wednesday. Angulo’s next goal for the club would be his 20th in all competitions. The Colombian is up to 43 assists, two behind Ojeda and four behind Pereyra for the club record.
- Daryl Dike’s next goal will be his 22nd for the club, tying former teammate Chris Mueller for ninth on the Lions’ all-time scoring list.
- Wilder Cartagena is three appearances away from 100 for Orlando City in all competitions.
Stats & Storylines
- Iván Angulo’s thrilling 89th-minute winner propelled Orlando City to a massive 3-2 victory over the Columbus Crew on Saturday night. The Lions remain one point ahead of Red Bull New York and FC Cincinnati for seventh in the Eastern Conference and, thanks to New York City FC’s loss in Chicago, sit four points above the playoff line.
- Angulo had scored just 11 times in 132 MLS regular season matches for Orlando City before ripping off five straight games with a goal over the past month. The Colombian is up to 6g/12a in all competitions in 2026, tying him with Justin Ellis for the team lead in assists and with Martín Ojeda (14g/4a) for the most goal contributions.
- Antoine Griezmann continues to rack up the stats in his first half-season in Central Florida. The World Cup champion assisted Harvey Sarajian’s opener and then scored a perfectly-placed free kick on Saturday night, bringing him to 10g/5a in just 16 appearances for Orlando across all competitions.
- Maxime Crépeau made history against Columbus, breaking his own club record from the 2026 season opener by saving 12 shots, including one on a breakaway on the sequence immediately prior to Angulo’s game-winner. Crépeau ranks fourth in MLS in saves and has 131 in all competitions across 30 games this year.
- Martín Ojeda’s march towards Orlando City immortality did not quite cross the finish line against Columbus, but by opting to square the ball back to Angulo on the winner rather than go for goal himself, he put himself one assist closer to Mauricio Pereyra’s club record. Ojeda has contributed to a goal in four consecutive matches in all competitions, though he has a ways to go before matching his sensational 12-game run from summer 2025.
- Harvey Sarajian earned his first career regular season start and paid off Martín Perelman’s faith immediately, scoring 46 seconds into the game. Sarajian’s goal was the third-fastest in club history.

Meet the opponent: Toronto FC
- For the first time in the history of the series, Orlando City has a positive all-time goal differential against Toronto FC, winning 3-0 on September 12 to go up 39-38 in the all-time series. After the first five years of matches between the sides, Orlando sported a 2W-8L-2D record and a -15 goal difference.
- Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring for the Lions in the game last month, setting what was then his own club record by scoring in a fifth straight game. Little did anyone know at the time that Iván Angulo was on his way to tying that mark; the Toronto game was the second of his own five-game goalscoring streak in MLS action that remains active going into this Wednesday’s match.
- Harvey Sarajian netted his first MLS goal against Toronto in the September game, then picked up his first assist on Angulo’s goal later in the second half.
- Toronto earned a massive, potentially season-saving win on Saturday, scoring twice in second-half stoppage time to stun archrivals CF Montréal 2-1 in the Canadian Classique. The Reds are up to 32 points, five back of Orlando and four behind RBNY and Cincinnati for the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.
- Toronto DP Djordje Mihailovic, who scored the winner for the Reds against Montréal, has been a major thorn in Orlando City’s side over the years, racking up 3g/6a across 13 games against the Lions.
- Maxime Crépeau, a Montréal native and Canada’s No. 1 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has allowed just four goals in four career games against Toronto, including a clean sheet in the September 12 victory.
