Youā€™ve gotta hand it to Nani ā€“ the man knows how to make an entrance.

Nani entered Saturday nightā€™s game at FC Cincinnati in the 55th minute and scored in the 56th, stealing away an errant Allan Cruz backpass and slotting brilliantly past a stunned Kenneth Vermeer to secure a road point for Orlando City.

Here, see it for yourself:

The goal continued a remarkable run for the captain. Nani has notched a goal contribution in five consecutive matches and 11 out of the 15 games heā€™s appeared in this season. He has three goals and three assists in the last three weeks alone.

Naniā€™s overall stats paint a pretty convincing MVP picture. His nine goals rank sixth in MLS, just two behind league leaders Gustavo Bou and Raul Ruidiaz. His six assists have him tied for third. He is the only player in the league to rank in the top six in each category and his 15 goal contributions have him second in MLS, tied with SKCā€™s Daniel SalloĆ and two back of New Englandā€™s Carles Gil.

The goal was also Naniā€™s 30th for Orlando City in all competitions, making him the second player in the Clubā€™s MLS history to achieve that mark after Cyle Larin. Orlando City is the third side for which Nani has scored at least 30 goals, after Manchester United (40) and Sporting CP (31).
