Nani was the fan-voted Heineken Man of the Match on the Orlando side in the Club’s 3-0 loss to Atlanta United this past Friday night. On a tough night for Orlando City, the captain gave the team all he could to try and turn the tide.Â
The captain was the only Orlando player to attempt multiple shots on the night, sending one of his two strikes on target and seeing the other one blocked. Nani also led the side with two key passes and seven crosses as he attempted to get the Lions back in the game.
Nani was active defensively as well. He won four of his six duels, leading the team with a 66.7% duel success rate, and managed three ball recoveries and a block.
