During the past week, five Orlando Pride players were called up to their respective national teams to play in international friendlies. Alex Morgan and Ashlyn Harris for the U.S., Alanna Kennedy and Steph Catley for Australia and Marta and Monica for Brazil. The USWNT played two friendlies against New Zealand, while Australia and Brazil faced off against each other.

Morgan featured in both matches for the U.S., scoring three spectacular goals. She started the first game, scoring late, then came on as a sub in the second game and scored twice.

Out in Australia, both Kennedy and Catley played the full 90 minutes in both matches, with Kennedy notching an assist on a Sam Kerr goal in the first game of the series. Marta managed an assist and a goal from the penalty spot in the second game of the series.

Now all six will have arrived back in Orlando and get ready for the Orlando Pride’s upcoming game against the Portland Thorns, the final regular season home game of the season.
