Orlando City SC signs Issah Haruna to short-term agreement

ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 15, 2026) — Orlando City SC has signed Orlando City B midfielder Issah Haruna to a short-term agreement, the club announced today. Haruna will be available for selection for Orlando City’s match against FC Cincinnati tonight, Aug. 15, at Inter.co Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET | Apple TV). 

Haruna was selected by the Lions with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft and signed his first professional contract with Orlando City B of MLS NEXT Pro on Feb. 28. Since then, the Kumasi, Ghana, native has started 17 of 18 appearances for OCB, recording three goals and two assists. Haruna made his First Team debut while on a short-term agreement with the Lions in their Leagues Cup 2026 match against Atlético de San Luis, entering as a second-half substitute.
