ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 16, 2026) – Orlando City SC has signed forward Harvey Sarajian to a first-team contract through the 2027-28 Major League Soccer season, with club options for 2028-29, 2029-30 and 2030-31, the team announced Monday. The Lions selected Sarajian, a Wake Forest University product, with the fifth overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.
“We’re really excited to bring Harvey into the fold,” said Ricardo Moreira, Orlando City SC General Manager and Sporting Director. “He’s a player we identified early in the draft process as someone who fits our style and developmental pathway. Adding young talent like Harvey is an important part of building depth and ensuring long-term success as we continue into the next iteration of our competitive cycle.”
Sarajian, 20, recently completed his sophomore season at Wake Forest, where he recorded two goals and two assists in 17 appearances. He transferred to the Demon Deacons after a standout freshman campaign at Georgia Southern in 2024, earning Sun Belt Freshman of the Year honors and a spot on the All-Sun Belt First Team. He also was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Second Team and TopDrawerSoccer’s Freshman Best XI Second Team.
Sarajian appeared in every match for Georgia Southern, starting 16, and led the Eagles in assists with six while scoring four goals.
