ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 17, 2025) – Orlando City SC midfielder Joran Gerbet has undergone successful surgery to reconstruct his left Anterior Cruciate Ligament following an injury sustained during the Club’s recent regular season match against the Columbus Crew, it was announced today. The procedure was performed by the Club’s Chief Medical Officer and Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Craig Mintzer, at the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Downtown Orlando.
Gerbet, 24, has started 14 matches in 23 total appearances across all competitions in his first season in Orlando, providing one assist. The Valence, France, native was selected 27th overall by the Lions in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft.
