ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 6, 2026) – Orlando City SC midfielder Braian Ojeda underwent successful surgery to repair a Jones fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, the Club announced today. The procedure was performed by Dr. Steven Choung at the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in downtown Orlando.Â
The Paraguayan international has made 21 starts across all competitions in his first season with the Lions, scoring one goal and adding six assists. In MLS play this year, Ojeda leads the Club in starts (18), appearances (18), minutes played (1,607) and fouls suffered (36).Â
Ojeda is expected to return to play later this fall.
