ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 21, 2026) – Orlando City SC has loaned midfielder Colin Guske to Real Salt Lake through the end of the 2026 season, it was announced today. As part of the loan, the Lions will receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM), while RSL holds an option to make the trade permanent at the end of the loan.

Colin has worked hard throughout our development pathway and this loan gives him the chance to gain valuable experience and consistent minutes at a high level in the sort term. It also reflects our continued belief in the pathway from the Academy to the professional game. Every player's journey looks different and we remain focused on providing the right opportunities to help our young players reach their potential, whether that path unfolds in Orlando or through experiences like this one.”

A product of the Orlando City Academy, Guske signed a first-team contract with the Club as a Homegrown on Dec. 16, 2024. Since then, the St. Johns, Florida, native has made 16 appearances for the Lions across all competitions, including a start in the Club’s Leagues Cup 2026 match against Atlético de San Luis.
During his time with Orlando City B, the 19-year-old has made 45 starts in 46 total appearances in MLS NEXT Pro, scoring one goal and recording four assists. In 2024, Guske played the most minutes of any MLS NEXT Pro player born in 2007 and was also selected as a 2024 MLS NEXT All-Star.
