📸 Orlando City hits pitch to begin preparation for U.S. Open Cup opener against Charlotte


The Lions are on to Charlotte.

Following a disappointing result north of the border over the weekend at CF Montréal, Orlando City has turned the page to defending its 2022 U.S. Open Cup crown as it opens the tournament in the Round of 32 against Charlotte FC on Tuesday night at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex at Matthews in Matthews, N.C. (7 p.m. | TV: CBS Sports Golazo Network).

Ahead of the match, Oscar Pareja's squad touched down in the Queen City on Sunday to begin preparation for the match, getting in an afternoon training session on the turf of Bank of America Stadium before they travel to Matthews tonight for a final evening practice.
